The Teen Titans are a crime-fighting superhero team
from the cartoon series of the same name. It would make more sense with
two T's, I suppose...

This flag might do very nicely for the Massachusetts Bay Transportation
authority, commonly referred to as "the T", and whose logo is a black T on a
white disk. (Their T doesn't reach the edge, though. See here).

In sports terms, Titans East would be sort of an expansion team.

In a recent episode of the Teen Titans cartoon, a character was hurled 5,000 years into the past, landing in a barbarian kingdom, which (rather ahistorically) had a flag. It was used quite a bit, too. Tan or buff field with a "chunky" dark brown crescent, open towards the fly.
I don't think the show's makers were trying for an Islamic subtext. After all,
the moon has been a generic totemic symbol for a long time.
